          For Mountviews production of 'The Sandman : A Christmas Fairytale' in 2018, I had the opportunity to make a giant candy floss to be used as a prop in the show.  After consulting with the rest of the team and the props department, we attempted to dye pillow stuffing, which was used as the cotton candy, with fabric dye but this did not take well, so we decided to spray paint it when the base of the structure was complete.  I began with a large cardboard cone and added some curved pieces to to act as a structure to support the pillow stuffing.  I also used some chicken wire to cover the circular structure to give it added support, and this material also ensured that it stayed light.  After this, I applied the stuffing in long, stretched out lengths to mimic the wrapping of cotton candy.  Once this was done, I began to spray paint!  Christmas Tree Farm holds many strong memories for me, most noticeably my Dad getting licked across the face by a cow. I was lucky enough to visit again in the summer and brought along my Nikon D3500. Here is a collection of some of my favourite shots of the day! 

  I have ideas. Like most people.  Sometimes those ideas are what outfit I should wear tomorrow, the sudden urge to learn to play the lyre, or, more often than not, it's something what would come under the branch of 'creative.'  As you can tell, this blog was one of those ideas.  The ideas come and go, like clouds or a weird smell that breezes past. But sometimes, they stick. For example, I'm still attempting to roller-skate nearly a year on. This was one of the very few ideas that I go through which has actually stuck. With this platform, I hope this will cause more of my ideas to 'stick', almost acting as a mousetrap for my hard-to-capture thoughts.  Hi!  I'm Chloe, currently in my last year of university studying Stage Management for Technical Theatre.  I enjoy playing video games, museums and watching video essays of people analysing sitcoms in alot of depth.  Stick along for the ride to see some examples of my work, from photography to props to creative
